Civil Engineering, one of the basic engineering fields; takes an active role in the development of the quality of life of the society, in the design and construction of the structures needed in every part of life. Experienced developments reveal the importance of civil engineering and trained workforce in the design and construction of safe structures.


Since the 2010-2011 academic year, our department has been successfully continuing its education and research studies with its competent staff.


With the Transportation, Geotechnical, Hydraulic and Construction laboratories and on-site training in our department, it is possible to develop the practical skills of our students. In addition, our students are offered the opportunity to study abroad with the ERASMUS student exchange program, and to receive diplomas in computer, electrical-electronics and mechanical engineering and some other fields through double major undergraduate program and minor programs.


Our department, which aims to prepare our students for business life as more equipped and confident engineer candidates in line with the developments in education and research processes, attaches importance to the development of the teaching staff and infrastructure.
